Sabalcore's System Features

Two principles guide our system design. First, a superb computing environment needs constant research and evaluation to meet changing customer requirements. Second, customers deserve tools and interfaces which make it simple to leverage the high performance computing environment. To this end, we've incorporated key features for managing accounts and projects, allocating computing resources and monitoring job progress.

Ample permanent storage

Our siCluster™ storage by technology partner Scalable Informatics Inc. provides our customers with scalable, fast, and reliable data storage. Each user account is provided 500GB of storage. Additional storage is available for a nominal fee.

Secure access from anywhere

Windows and Linux environments can access the service using any SSH client or Sabalcore's Secure client, a robust full-featured SSH and VNC client that can be launched from from the convince of a web browser.

Complete development environment
Included with every account is Sabalcore's comprehensive technical support. We can build and install any software package for you. But, for those customers who wish to compile their own codes, a complete suite of updated open-source software libraries and compilers are available. Including C, C++, FORTRAN, CUDA, OpenMP, MPICH2, mvapich2, OpenMPI and many more. All included with the service.

High Performance Network
Sabalcore compute clusters employ the latest Infinband fabrics and 10GigE networks to provide fast, reliable, and scalable data communication between compute nodes and storage servers.

High Performance Compute nodes
Choose Intel or AMD based nodes with 6, 8, or 32 cores running at 3.0Ghz and higher. We have a variety of compute nodes to choose from including single socket, dual socket, and quad socket configurations.
